Refill is a different product than a cage swap
If a 20-lb grill tank is empty, a maps pin is often a metal cage outside a grocery or big-box store. That cage is usually an exchange: you leave your tank and take a different, prefilled cylinder for a flat fee. Leftover gas in the tank you turned in is typically not credited. Exchange cages are usually 20-lb grill cylinders only.
A refill is an attendant (or a certified pay-at-pump) putting propane into your cylinder, billed for gas added — often by the gallon. Stations can refuse an out-of-date or damaged tank. Many refill locations also handle larger portable tanks or RVs; that is published per station or marked unknown.

City pages list locations with a public page that describes refill, not exchange-only. Hours on a card are office, store, or published fill hours from that page. Propane attendant coverage can be shorter. Gallon prices are omitted because they change. Unknown fields stay unknown.
